FAQ
Can we meet you?
I always recommend a Zoom consultation before booking - it’s important that you feel comfortable and confident, as I’ll be with you throughout your wedding day. It’s a chance for us to talk through your plans, what matters most to you, and ensure we’re the right fit.
Where are you based and how far will you travel?
I’m based on the outskirts of Bath and regularly photograph weddings across the UK and beyond - I’m always happy to travel.
How would you define your photography style?
Natural, considered, and balanced.
I’m not overly traditional, nor fully documentary - I sit comfortably in the middle. I’ll guide you when it helps and step back when it doesn’t, allowing your day to unfold naturally while ensuring everything feels beautifully captured.
How much time do you need on our day?
Couple portraits usually take around 15 minutes at a time, often during drinks reception and again later in the day. Group photographs can be completed efficiently with a little planning.
Ahead of your wedding, we’ll align on timings and priorities so everything runs smoothly without feeling staged or rushed.
Do you take group photographs?
Of course.
I usually recommend 8-10 group photographs to keep things relaxed and efficient. This typically takes around 20-30 minutes, depending on guest numbers.
How will you guide us in front of the camera?
I focus on light and movement rather than stiff posing.
I’ll find the best setting, offer gentle direction, and encourage natural interaction so nothing feels forced. The result is photographs that feel relaxed, connected, and true to you.
How many photographs will we receive?
For full-day coverage, you can expect approximately 500-600 carefully edited images.
There is no strict cap - I include everything that meaningfully tells the story of your day.
When will we receive our images?
Your full gallery will be delivered within 12 weeks. Often sooner, never later.
Will there be a second photographer?
A second photographer can be added to your coverage and is often beneficial for larger weddings (typically 80+ guests). It allows us to document different perspectives simultaneously.
Wedding albums
Yes. I offer a small collection of beautifully crafted, luxury wedding albums designed to preserve your photographs in a tangible, lasting way. Details and pricing are available on request.
How do we book?
After our consultation, I’ll send you a contract and booking form. A £500 booking fee secures your date, with the remaining balance due four weeks before the wedding.
