HELLO, I'm Lauren!

I’m a wedding photographer born and raised in the beautiful Roman city of Bath.

My journey with wedding photography began in 2004, at just fifteen years old, during a work experience placement that completely changed the direction of my life. From that moment, I knew I had found something special. Five years later, I began photographing weddings independently.

Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of documenting countless celebrations, many of which have led to new ones, and to friendships that have lasted far beyond the wedding day.

My approach is calm, considered, and natural. I’m drawn to real moments and work unobtrusively, stepping in with gentle direction when needed, but always allowing space for you to be yourselves.

The images I create are elegant, timeless, and full of energy - photographs that reflect not just how your wedding looked, but how it felt in that moment.

At its heart, my work is about connection. Between the two of you. Between families. Between old friends and new chapters. My role is to preserve those relationships in a way that feels honest and enduring.

My Approach

Every wedding is different, but my approach remains the same - calm, observant, and quietly in control.

I don’t believe in over-directing or turning your day into a photoshoot. Instead, I allow space for moments to unfold naturally, stepping in gently when needed and stepping back when they don’t. The best images are rarely forced; they happen when you feel comfortable enough to simply be yourselves.

I pay close attention to light, movement and the way people interact when they think no one is watching.

When it comes to portraits, I’ll guide you just enough so you feel confident, while leaving room to make it your own. My aim is for you to look and feel like the best versions of yourselves on your wedding day.

Above all, I want you to feel supported, calm when timelines shift, reassured when nerves appear, and free to enjoy every part of your celebration, knowing it’s being documented thoughtfully and with care.

Why Wedding Photography?

Wedding photography is my purpose - that’s the simplest way I can put it.

There’s something incredibly powerful about being trusted with a day that can’t be repeated. One chance to document your family, your friendships, the nervous excitement, the proud glances, the moments you won’t even realise are happening at the time.

To be welcomed into your closest circle on such a meaningful day is something I never take lightly. My role isn’t just to observe, but to understand what matters to you - the dynamics, the personalities and the nuances that make your people, your people.

Yes, I love the responsibility. I love the focus it demands. But more than anything, I care about creating photographs that feel true - images that reflect not just how your day looked, but how it felt to be there.

Outside of Weddings, I also love...

When I’m not photographing weddings, you’ll usually find me walking my dog, Dora. Training in the gym for something slightly ambitious, or planning my next trip somewhere with good light and great food.

I’m drawn to beautiful spaces, thoughtful design, and anything that feels well-made - which probably explains why weddings suit me so well.
